Build

Bring your questionnaire. Define the flow, custom survey logic, and follow-up question triggers.

Launch

Set your sample, languages, quotas and calling windows. Let AI voice interviewers take it from there.

Understand

Watch responses become structured data. Review the themes. Take the next step with evidence.

CATI without the call centre

Telephone research offers the depth that a checkbox can’t. catilyst is built to make that depth easier to reach, without the operational weight of a call centre.

What is catilyst?

catilyst is an AI CATI platform — a system for computer-assisted telephone interviewing in which the interviews are conducted by AI voice interviewers instead of a staffed call centre. Research teams use catilyst to field telephone surveys in parallel, within each market’s calling windows, without hiring, training, and scheduling a room of interviewers. catilyst is built by Voxworks.

What does CATI stand for?

CATI stands for computer-assisted telephone interviewing. It is a survey research method in which an interviewer conducts a questionnaire by telephone while software controls the script — managing question order, skip logic, and data capture as the interview proceeds. CATI has been a standard method in probability-sample survey research for decades.

Is catilyst the same as Cati.bot?

Yes. catilyst is the new name for the AI CATI platform from Voxworks that was previously called Cati.bot, and the website has moved from cati.bot to catilyst.ai. The platform, the team and the research notes are the same.

Who is catilyst for?

catilyst is built for professional survey researchers: research agencies, fieldwork teams, insights departments at brands and institutions, and academic researchers running telephone studies. It is designed for methodologically demanding work, where questionnaire fidelity, sample coverage, and documentation matter.

Is catilyst available?

Yes. catilyst is live, and AI voice interviewers are fielding telephone studies for research teams now. If you run telephone survey studies, request a demo through the contact page or email admin@voxworks.ai to discuss your questionnaire, sample, and a pilot.

What kinds of studies can catilyst run?

catilyst is designed for structured telephone survey research — the studies that have traditionally been fielded through CATI call centres. That includes opinion and attitude surveys, customer and constituent research, public health and social research, and academic studies that require telephone data collection. Your existing questionnaire is the starting point.

Who makes catilyst?

catilyst is a subsidiary of Voxworks, an Australian AI voice lab. Voxworks publishes field observations on telephone methodology and AI interviewing in the research notes on this site.

How can I contact the catilyst team?

You can reach the catilyst team through the contact page, or by email at admin@voxworks.ai. Voxworks works with research teams internationally.
