THE WORKFLOW

How a Catilyst study runs

The same steps as any CATI study, with AI voice interviewers making the calls: from your questionnaire to a structured dataset.

Walk through it with us
01

Build your research instrument

Bring your questionnaire, response options, and branching logic. Define the interview introduction and the follow-ups your methodology permits.

Questionnaire, routing, probes and definitions
02

Bring your respondents

Prepare your contact list and sample groups. Work with us on the fields, permissions, and exclusions needed for your study.

03

Set languages, calling windows and rules

Configure languages, calling windows, retry rules, and caller identification. Review the voice experience before any campaign goes live.

Tested in a pilot before launch
04

Launch the fieldwork

Launch your campaign and let AI voice interviewers conduct calls in parallel, following your questionnaire and approved conversation rules.

05

Monitor results as calls finish

Monitor progress and review responses as interviews finish. Look at completion patterns and emerging themes while fieldwork is still running.

06

Export the data

Export structured responses into your preferred analysis tools. Discuss API and webhook options if your workflow needs an ongoing connection.

Frequently asked questions

Something else on your mind? Talk to our team.

How natural does the AI interviewer sound?

catilyst is designed for conversational voice interviews. A demo and a study-specific pilot are the best way to assess voice quality, pacing, pronunciation, and how the experience works for your audience.

What happens when someone gives an unexpected answer?

The interview is configured around your questionnaire and approved follow-ups. We review clarification, refusal, and exception handling with you during setup so the approach fits your research instrument.

Can I use my existing questionnaire?

Yes. Your existing questionnaire is the starting point. The team works with you on question order, response options, branching, and any adjustments needed for a voice interview.

How are consent and calling rules handled?

Before fielding, your team and ours review the study introduction, participant consent, calling windows, exclusions, and stopping rules. Requirements depend on the market and study; the workflow must be reviewed for your specific project.

Can we review data handling before a pilot?

Yes. Bring your requirements for storage, access, retention, deletion, and data location. We will discuss these with you before agreeing to a study. No certification or blanket regulatory compliance is implied.

Which languages can I use?

catilyst is being built for multilingual research. Confirm your required languages and voices with the team, then review translated scripts and run a pilot before launching a multilingual study.

How do I get my data?

The platform is designed to return structured survey responses for analysis, including CSV export. Discuss API and webhook access if you need to connect the output to an existing system.

Can I try catilyst before a wider rollout?

Yes. Request a demo to discuss your questionnaire, sample, and goals, and scope a pilot study with the team before a wider rollout.
